Log in to "Appleid.apple.com" and select "Reset your password." Enter your Apple ID, then select the "Answer security questions" option to authenticate your account. Enter your date of birth and provide the correct answers to your security questions to verify your account. If successful, create a password and log in to your device when done. You can also elect to recover your password using email authentication. If you choose this method, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Click the link in your email to reset your Apple ID password.

Two-Step Verification

If you elected to use two-step verification, a recovery key will be sent to the trusted device or devices that you connected to your Apple ID account, such as an iPhone or SMS text messaging-enabled phones and devices.
