In this article, we are going to bring you a list of the strongest anime characters of all time. The list is going to contain just anime characters, ordered from 70th to 1st place, based on their strengths and powers.

The list is going to contain only human or humanoid characters, so there will be no monsters, demons, or robots on the list, as they fall into a separate category.

70. Madara Uchiha

Series: Naruto

Madara Uchiha is a fictional character from Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga and anime series. He is not the main character, but he was the head of the Uchiha clan and, together with Hashirama Senju, one of the founders of the Hidden Leaf Village.

He is considered to be one of the strongest ninja ever and the first to attain the Eternal Hypnotic Sharingan and the Rinnegan after the Hermit of the Six Paths.

For most of the second half of the story, Tobi pretended to be Madara Uchiha but during the Fourth Ninja War, it is discovered that he is actually the believed dead Obito Uchiha, who pretended to be Madara at the behest of the latter. He is the main antagonist in the second part of the manga.

69. Ayato Kirishima

The first entry from Tokyo Ghoul on this list. Ayato is Toka Kirishima’s little brother and an executive in Aogiri. Nicknamed the “Black Rabbit”, he tends to be confused with his sister who also wears a bunny mask. He has a totally opposite personality to that of his sister, coming across as arrogant, aggressive, and cynical.

Believing that “the reason of the strongest is always the best”, he believes that the weak are destined to die and have no place on this earth. He has a fierce hatred towards humans, and in particular against the CCG which destroyed his family. Like her sister’s, her kagune is a winged type.

He is not exactly the strongest character like Goku or Saitama but he deserves his place on this list.

68. Tetsuo Shima

Tetsuo Shima Akira is the deuteragonist and main antagonist of the AKIRA franchise. He might be average in build but make no mistake Tetsuo Shima Akira is one of the strongest characters and can hold his ground against the likes of Goku and Saitama.

He eventually acquires the power of espers and his personality receives a downgrade along with it. Tetsuo Shima is at times confusing but fun character.

67. Gon

Series: Hunter x Hunter

Gon from the Hunter x Hunter universe might not be one of the strongest characters on this list or the main character. But at least he is here. His most extraordinary trait, on the other hand, is his uncanny, limitless ability.

When influential characters like Hisoka, Wing, Biscuit, and Razor realized the full extent of Gon’s abilities, which is sometimes portrayed as infinite, they were astounded. 

This enables him to learn incredibly quickly, which is particularly true in the field of Nen, where such an aptitude is extremely rare.

And rare in general in the Hunter x Hunter universe. He tried to use Zetsu on one occasion even before mastering it.

Gon is an Enhancer, which means he has superhuman strength and healing powers.

Biscuit has at least two other Nen forms, Emission and Transmutation, thanks to his preparation, which he later honed to a high enough degree to establish functioning Nen powers.  Hunter x Hunter is truly a source of strong and memorable characters.

66. Meruem

Hailing from Hunter x Hunter, Meruem was the Chimera Ant Queen’s most powerful offspring and one of the strongest characters. He was the principal adversary of the Chimera Ant arc and was regarded as the King of the Chimera Ants.

Meruem is the most powerful character introduced in the series so far, as well as the one with the best learning potential, despite being a newborn.

His incredible physical strength is only balanced by an extraordinary intelligence, all of which appear to put him way above the realm of human possibility.

He has more strength than the Royal Guards as the King of the Chimera Ants, and he can increase it even more by eating Nen users.

It’s safe to say that he can probably overpower the whole Hunter x Hunter World.

He faced Isaac Netero, formerly the world’s most powerful Nen user without breaking a sweat, who maintained a terrifying amount of strength even in his old age, while attempting not to destroy him, a situation Meruem compared to playing chess without a rook and bishop and won their physical fight. 

65. Turles

Series: Dragon Ball Super

Despite being a low-class Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super, Turles‘ fighting level is higher than other Saiyans of the same class. He is able to effortlessly outmatch Piccolo (whose power was 18,000 units according to Turles’ tracker) even without eating the Fruit of the Divine Tree. He is nowhere near the strongest character but he’s getting there.

According to a booklet for the movie, Turles has a fighting level of 19,000 without having eaten the Fruit of the Divine Tree, although he was able to dodge Goku’s attacks, which at the time were increasing in power (starting from 30,000 and increasing, according to the Tracker’s reading) and was forced back to seek the fruit that would grant him strength.

After eating the fruit, its power and speed increase sharply, surpassing Goku’s Kaio-ken x10.

It is not known for sure how much his power increased: it was probably more than ten times as Goku outclassed him before he ate the fruit and was then outclassed by Turles even though he used Kaio-ken x10.

He returns to eat another Fruit of the Divine Tree later, but his power is not put to the test, as he was no match for the Genki-dama that Goku armed with the energy of the same fruits. Both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super have their fair share of powerful anime characters.

64. Satoru Gojō

You don’t have to look far to find a powerful anime character in Jujutsu Kaisen. Meet Satoru Gojo. A sorcerer who works as a teacher at the Tokyo Institute of Occult Arts in Jujutsu Kaisen anime.

He is the teacher of Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara and is among the most powerful anime characters. He convinces his superiors to keep Yuji alive until he has consumed all of Sukuna’s fingers.

He is a complex individual, as he is usually easygoing and playful towards people like his students and colleagues, but rude to his superiors.

Although he has never been mentioned, he has a strong relationship with the young witch Maggie in Jujutsu Kaisen.

He has chosen to teach young sorcerers to raise a new generation that can change the ruling class of witchcraft from within, which he considers too closed and conservative. He is very confident in his abilities, power and reputation as a powerful sorcerer.

Although he has given himself the nickname “The Strongest”, most allies and enemies agree that he is one of the most dangerous people alive.

As a result, he is widely respected and revered by sorcerers, even those of the sister school in Kyoto, and has a high influence in the world of witchcraft in Jujutsu Kaisen.

63. Yoriichi Tsugikuni

Yoriichi is one of the most powerful known characters in the entire series and the most powerful anime swordsman and Demon Hunter, born with the Demon Slayer Mark and the Transparent World.

As a kid not trained in sword skills, he was able to defeat a trained sword instructor and was called a miracle.

After training as a Demon Hunter, Yoriichi was able to defeat several Demons. As one of the most powerful characters in the entire series, He single-handedly managed to corner Muzan Kibutsuji and left him on the brink of death until he managed to escape.

Muzan considered Yoriichi to be a real monster. Shortly before his death, at the age of 85, he fought with his older twin brother Kokushibo, who had turned into a demon.

Despite his extreme age and apparent blindness, he quickly gained the upper hand in battle in one move, even cutting his brother’s throat before he died on his feet.

Kokushibo himself admits that if Yoriichi Demon Slayer had fired a second blow before dying, he would have killed him, commenting that Yoriichi’s strength had not yet been matched.

Demon Slayer truly has its fair share of powerful characters that can defeat demons without breaking a sweat.

62. Jotaro Kujo

Series: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Jotaro Kujo JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is the main anime protagonist of Stardust Crusaders and is the most popular character ever since his debut. Jotaro’s story started when went on a journey to Egypt with his grandfather to save his mother Holy Kujo. 

He gains the Stand Star, Platinum which is a super-strong, fast, and precise close-range power Stand.

During his journey, he would grow more fond of his allies and would even mourn those who died.

This is more evident in Diamond’s Unbreakable as he still carries around and looks at the photo of his group.

He is successful in finally killing DIO at the end of Stardust Crusaders.

Jotaro would then finish his studies and earn a Ph.D. in Marine Biology, marry an Italian-American woman and have a daughter named Jolyne. Jotaro Kujo JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the most known and powerful characters in anime.

61. Cabba

Series: Dragon Ball Super

Hailing from Dragon Ball super anime universe. In his base state, he is strong enough to evenly fight Vegeta, both having a similar fighting style and ki control.

After being threatened by Vegeta about destroying his planet, he becomes a Super Saiyan and his power grows exponentially, even being able to fend off blows from Vegeta as a Super Saiyan.

During the fight between the two Saiyans, Piccolo says that he was superior to Vegeta.

Although the latter was testing the extent of his power. Finally, Cabba is defeated in a single blow by Vegeta as Super Saiyan Blue in Dragon Ball Super.

The two Saiyan women of Dragon Ball Super Universe 6 have proven to be superior to him.

Caulifla manages to become Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super in a short time, and her protégé Kale reaches a Super Saiyan level power higher than both of them in the few hours before the Tournament of Power.

In his regular form in the manga, Cabba is powerful enough to fight on equal terms against Vegeta, who states that Vegeta may be as strong as him without transforming.

However, he is less talented than Caulifla, a dangerous outlaw from the planet Sadala, and vastly weaker than Kale.

60. Nana Shimura

The Hero from Hero Academia anime who used the power of One For All before it passed it to Toshinori, then without Quirk; she, along with One For All, had the Quirk Float, which allowed her to hover in the air and float. She is among the most powerful characters in the series.

Little is known about her: she is described as a woman with a great sense of duty and justice, she is firm in the idea that a hero should always smile to instill courage and hope in people; she was also a great friend of Gran Torino. She is our first entry from My Hero Academia.

59. Cell

The Dragon Ball anime franchise launched and created this amazing Dragon Ball character. The cell might not be the main character but he has his powers.

The cell has the DNA of the strongest fighters throughout the world, in Dragon Ball that is. He can be regarded as probably the strongest anime character depending on who you ask.

Cell got some of the Saiyan powers from his father. Still, there is much to do in this regard. This humanoid character will never attract your attention and yet is one of the most powerful characters in anime.

You will also find this character as the ridiculous generation of the Dragon Ball franchise. Both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super have their fair share of powerful anime characters.

58. King Arthur

Our first entry from Seven Deadly Sins Anime is also one of the strongest characters.

Arthur wore a gold sword and was armed with gold metal armor in the past.

Arthur appears to be a very capable fighter, as he easily repelled Hendrickson’s surprise attack while simultaneously delivering a counterattack that dealt a blow to the Holy Grand Knight.

Arthur’s fencing is far beyond that of an ordinary person in Seven Deadly Sins, as Arthur could fight on par with Hendrickson and had great speed. But Hendrickson knew Arthur was holding back for reasons unknown. Seven Deadly Sins truly does have its fair share of powerful characters in anime.

57. Makarov Dreyar

Series: Fairy Tail

Makarov is the guild master of Fairy Tail and is one of the Ten Wizard Saints. He is a small old man that has a powerful ability and Magic Power despite his elderly appearance and age. You can say that he is one of those anime stereotypes of elderly people who have immense power.

Makarov is capable of turning himself into a large muscular person, granting him immense strength and durability that’s perfect for battling multiple people. He has the power to create a maximum defense seal that lets him protect the town of Magnolia or his guild.

He is also a user of Light Magic, which lets him produce blasts of light to attack his enemies.

He is also a master of various Magics, including Fairy Law, which can instantly defeat anyone who he sees fit as an enemy.

Our list is kind of kicking off with Fairy Tail anime characters, what can we say, they are among the most powerful characters in anime.

56. August

August is the son of Zeref and Mavis Vermillion. He is one of the anime stereotypes of old men who have incredible abilities.

He is known throughout the world of Fairy Tail as a master of countless types of magic and is known for his incredible strength as well.

He belongs to the top list for being capable of defeating the Oracion Seis with no effort.

August has mastered Copy Magic due to his mastery and power of several types of magic.

Copy magic allows him to perform the same magic that anyone can do, as well as use it to nullify the ability, making him immune to almost any form of Fairy Tail magic.

If it were not for Gildarts, August might have killed most of the Fairy Tail mages without any effort at all.

55. Mikasa Ackerman

Our first entry on this list from Attack on Titan Anime. Mikasa is a childhood friend of Eren Yeager, who was taken in by his family after her mother and father were murdered by slave traders. As a normally calm and withdrawn girl, she maintains a stoic expression except when it comes to Eren Yeager and her friends.

As it later turned out, Mikasa’s father was a descendant of an Eldian bloodline that was modified to create super soldiers whose strength and power were equal to that of a Titan.

Under duress, these genetically inherited abilities can give offspring access to the combat experience of their ancestors.

After Eren Yeager and his father discover the Ackermans dead during a routine doctor’s visit, Eren Yeager pursues Mikasa to the merchant’s hut.

Considering that the world of Attack on Titan is truly cruel, our protagonists need to be powerful.

Mikasa’s instincts are awakened when Eren Yeager urges her to fight back and live.

For this reason, and because of Eren’s kindness to give her a dark red scarf, which Mikasa cherished and wore all her life, she feels compelled to protect and follow him at all costs, including his participation in the Survey Corps.

54. Whis

Whis got unusual fighting skills and some supernatural humanoid powers, he can’t use the Ultra Instinct.

Whis claims itself as the fastest among all the attendants of that time and in Dragon Ball in general.

53.  Irene Belserion

If Erza from Fairy Tail anime is overpowered, so is her mother. Irene Belserion is one of the Spriggan 12 and was the very first Dragon Slayer and Dragon at the same time.

She was the creator of Dragon Slayer magic, which turns out to be a form of enchantment that Dragons can pass over to humans to grant them the ability.

Like Wendy, Irene is the master of Enchantment Magic, which lets her enchant even her soul towards others, as seen when she used it on Wendy.

She is also capable of compressing and rearranging the geography of an entire country with her magic, as well as reverting it if needed, plus summoning meteors to destroy a large area.

If Irene did not have a change of heart because of her battle against Erza and Wendy, she might have defeated everyone in the guild all by herself. 

The world of Fairy Tail is filled with quirky but powerful characters.

52. Ymir

Series: Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan anime has its fair share of powerful characters. Ymir was a member of the 104th grade and a close friend of Krista.

Staying away from her other classmates, she is both tough and critical and maintains an air of indifference.

It is strongly suggested that she withheld her skills during training to allow Krista to finish tenth on the Training Corps ranking.

When Titans attack Castle Utgard, Ymir transforms into a 7-meter-long chimpanzee-like Titan who, despite its smaller size, is nimble enough to defeat several large Titans with its speed, claws, and teeth.

Prior to the events in the series, Ymir was an unnamed Eldian orphan who lived in Marley and was chosen by a cult leader to pose as a royal descendant and religious figurehead.

Considering that the world of Attack on Titan is truly cruel our characters need to be powerful as well. She was named after Ymir Fritz and lived a peaceful life of comfort, revered by members of the cult.

When the Marleyan security forces later took action against the cult, she was made a scapegoat and sentenced as a pure Titan to exile in Paradis.

Ymir remained a mindless Titan for sixty years (an experience she later referred to as the “Endless Nightmare”) until one day she came across four teenage Marleyan Warrior infiltrators and devoured one named Marcel Galliard, who happened to own the Jaw Titan.

Consuming a Titan Shifter enabled her to return to her human form, and she decided to live this second life honestly only with herself.

She later joined the Training Corps and was close to Krista Lenz (Historia Reiss), of whom she is extremely protective.

51. The Great Priest

The great Priest is the most influential Dragon Ball anime character who served the Omni king Zeno Dragon Ball Super for a long time.

The great Priest got a special place near the Omni king.

That’s why the Omni king started relying on and believing in the great Priest for everything. 

The great Priest is great for all the blessings and skills that he got from his ancestors and God.

The great Priest was a powerful and influential Dragon Ball character and one of the strongest characters in anime history in general and a fighter with top-notch intelligence.

50. Shenron

Shenron is the first dragon to appear in the history of Dragon Ball anime and coincidentally one of the strongest anime characters of all time and in anime history.

He comes to Earth when the seven Dragon Balls are reunited and the person holding them summons him using a spell.

Shenron can then grant a wish, within the limits of the power of the Almighty, and then withdraw.

The seven Dragon Balls are then dispersed to the four corners of the planet and again become simple stones for a year, at the end of which they become usable again.

49. Majin Buu

Dragon Ball anime has some of the most powerful characters out there. Millions of years before the story of Dragon Ball unfolded, the sorcerer Bibidi freed a monster named Majin Buu in order to dominate the universe.

This one turned out to be totally uncontrollable and attacked the Kaio Shin (the gods of the universe, obstacles to Bibidi): he killed those of the North and the West and absorbed that of the South (the strongest).

It then took an imposing form. He finally absorbed Dai Kaio Shin.

The latter has a peaceful and good heart, and the character but also the physique of Majin Buu changed completely: Buu became chubby with a childish character.

Buu was then locked in a cocoon by his master, terrified of the creature.

The only survivor of the Dragon Ball massacre, the youngest Kaio Shin (the one from the East) found Bibidi and killed him during his sleep to leave Buu forever locked in his cocoon hidden on Earth.

Easily one of the strongest anime characters of all time.

48. All Might

The world of My Hero Academia anime is no stranger to powerful anime characters. His real name is Toshinori Yagi; he was born without an Alter and took over that of his mentor, Nana Shimura as a teenager. He is the number one hero.

A true symbol of peace, he is the idol of Izuku Midoriya.

Endowed with phenomenal strength, he is always ready to help people with his unique style of heroism: “Helping others with a smile on their face”.

His favorite phrase: “Everything is going to be fine! You know why? Because the cavalry is here!”.

Izuku Midoriya wants more than anything to follow in his model’s footsteps. An ambition that the young man has had for years and which materializes when he becomes his disciple.

47. Sakura Haruno

Sakura Haruno, whose current name is Sakura Uchiha, is a Jōnin from Konohagakure, she was the female member of Team 7.

Kishimoto created her as the heroine of the series, although he admitted that he had little perception of how an ideal heroine should be less alone than the main character.

Sakura was teased by other children due to her long forehead, a characteristic that Kishimoto has tried to emphasize in Sakura’s appearances.

She was comforted and defended by Ino Yamanaka for teasing, as the two grew older, however, they became distant due to the affection they felt for Sasuke. For most of the first part, Sakura has a crush on Sasuke, and she despises Naruto Uzumaki.

46. Mr. Popo

Mister Popo is the faithful servant of the Almighty and a character in Dragon Ball series.

He never leaves his master’s heavenly palace (except in the Namek saga where he goes to the hospital where Son Goku is being treated to go look for Bulma to show him the Almighty’s spaceship, located above Master Korin’s tower, or in Dragon Ball GT to tell the story of the cracked Dragon Balls).

We see him for the first time in Dragon Ball when Son Goku as a child goes to the shrine of the Almighty after defeating the demon Piccolo, to train there.

He must beat Mister Popo to be able to meet the Almighty but he is unable to do so, because he foresees all his movements and counters him as he pleases.

45. Izuku Midoriya

He is the main character of the story and one of the strongest anime characters in My Hero Academia. Childhood “friend” of Katsuki Bakugo, whom he nicknames Katchan, he was born without Quirk.

He wants to become the best superhero of his time, like his idol, the famous All Might: “To be able to save lives with a smile on your face”.

His dream is to join Yuei (UA), the famous and no less prestigious high school (Hero Academia) which has seen the birth of so many heroes. Yet without powers, he will do anything to become a great hero and catch up with his biggest rival, Katsuki Bakugo.

It will ultimately be him that All Might will choose to take over by transmitting his power, the One For All.

44. Tornado

Series: One Punch Man

A young woman who is sometimes ungrateful to her peers, gifted with super telekinetic powers to face her opponents which makes her the one of strongest anime characters of all time in anime history.

She looks like a kid because of her powers, which are said to have stunted her growth, but is 28 years old.

Its powers are powerful enough to effortlessly destroy a city, stop shells, create natural disasters, or even rain meteorites.

She can also create force fields to protect herself and has many mystical powers, which we have not yet seen, according to Silverfang (silver fang).

Because of her bad temper, she has the annoying habit of swearing at her interlocutors for a yes or a no.

Tornado is without a doubt the strongest female character in one punch man.

43. Isaac Netero

Series: Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter is no stranger to powerful characters. Isaac Netero hunter x is the president of the Society of Hunters.

He was at one time the most powerful of them, and arguably still is, although his advanced age has caused him to lose, in his words, more than half of its power.

During the exam’s airship trip, he notices Gon and Killua, going so far as to offer them a game that, if they win, will allow them to obtain Hunter’s license directly without having to complete the trials.

They are nevertheless crushed effortlessly by Isaac Netero Hunter x.

He is the one who decides on the tests for the Hunter exam. He is the only one who has the right to license a person. This is what he does with Killua during the latter’s second try. This is our only entry from Hunter x Hunter.

42. Ulquiorra Cifer

Series: Bleach

Ulquiorra, already in his past in Hueco Mundo, one of the strongest anime characters of all time, reached the stage of Vasto Lorde, but despite being one of the most powerful Hollows he felt marginalized by the others as he was the only white Hollow.

His face was covered with a mask due to which he could not hear, bite or smell anything, he could not rest and he had no companions: the only thing he felt was “nothing” and the only thing he did was walk alone.

He is recruited by Aizen at an unspecified time.

Ulquiorra first appears together with Yammy Rialgo, the 10th Espada, upon arrival in the city of Karakura, where he travels with the aim of finding Ichigo Kurosaki and gathering as much information about him as possible.

41. Sōsuke Aizen

During the Pendulum Saga, set a hundred years before the story, Aizen held the rank of lieutenant of the Fifth Division in the service of Captain Shinji Hirako, the future leader of the Vizard.

Already at the time, Aizen, one of the strongest anime characters of all time, was collaborating with Kaname Tōsen and Gin, at that time still a child but still a skilled killer:

Aizen had tried to use different Shinigami for his experiments but all his guinea pigs, except the future Visored, were in states of bankruptcies.

Attempting to track down Shinji and his group Aizen creates, using the soul of a Shinigami, a Hollow named White and designed specifically to hollowify the Shinigami.

After his attack on Isshin Shiba and the hollowing of Masaki Kurosaki, Aizen remains on the sidelines curious to see what will happen.

40. Master Roshi

He is one of the greatest masters of human martial arts in the Dragon Ball universe and one of the strongest anime characters of all time, born in 430, brother of the clairvoyant Baba, measures 165 cm for 44 kg, and lives on a tiny island, in a house called Kame House (“House of the Turtle”).

In his youth, Master Roshi was a pupil, alongside Master Shen, of the great master Mutaito, and attended the imprisonment of the demon Piccolo by the latter.

Following the death of his master, Master Roshi and Master Shen separate and develop their own fighting styles, and therefore respectively found their own schools in the Dragon Ball universe, this aggravating their already well-established rivalries.

You don’t have to be the main character to be badass

39. Korin

On one such occasion, about 110 years ago, she was introduced to a training Byakuya by her grandfather, Ginrei Kuchiki.

After seeing Yoruichi, she attacked and insulted her.

Yoruichi teased him jokingly, complaining about her greeting after coming all the way to see him. Byakuya, expressing her displeasure at seeing her, declared that he would become the leader of the Kuchiki clan soon enough, so he had no time to waste with her.

Kakashi Hatake is a Jōnin, ex-ANBU and the leader of Team 7 and the teacher of Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno and became the Sixth Hokage. He is also one of the strongest anime characters of all time.

Kishimoto originally wanted Kakashi to appear in the second chapter of the Naruto manga, just before the other members of “Team 7”, and created him as a carefree person who would be able to keep the team members in check.

Kakashi handles his leadership position in an aloof manner and is constantly late for meetings.

In a gaiden about his past, it is revealed that this is the result of an incident where he witnessed the death of one of his companions, Obito Uchiha, who gave him his eye with the Sharingan and passed on to him several of his habits, including his delay.

Sasuke Uchiha is the deuteragonist of the series, he is a Genin and a Renegade Ninja, and one of the members of Team 7 and one of the strongest anime characters.

Shigekuni Yamamoto Genryūsai is the captain of the First Division and therefore Commander General of Gotei 13.

He appears as a bald elderly man with a long mustache, eyebrows and beard; in spite of his venerable age, he has a strong and muscular physique marked by numerous scars, testimony of the countless battles in which he participated which makes him one of the strongest anime characters

He has a fierce and determined temperament and firmly believes that the law must be respected at any cost.

He founded the Shinigami Academy and personally taught the fighting arts to Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake, whom he regards almost as his own children.

23. Beerus

Beerus is the god of destruction of the seventh universe and one of the strongest anime characters.

He first appears as the main antagonist in the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and then, subsequently, becomes a major character in the Dragon Ball Super series.

He physically resembles a purple-colored cat with bunny ears.

This God of destruction with a rather childish temperament, he can easily get angry and become very violent if he does not get what he wants. He was the one who locked the oldest of the gods Kaios in the Z-Sword.

His goal will become to inflict defeat on Kira, more than to shut him down (in other words to unmask him in front of those he has deceived). He will thus be at the initiative of the creation of the S.P.K., a special section of the FBI responsible for tracking down Kira.

His deduction has proven to be keener than that of his model (L) or Light. Death Note truly has it’s fair share of powerful characters.

21. Mob

Called Shigeo Kageyama, he is a 4th-year student at Sel College and one of the strongest anime characters. He hails from the universe of Mob Psycho 100 He works for Reigen Arataka in the spirits office.

Shigeo is simple in appearance and does not attract attention at all. He has great psychic power (spirit hunter) but only uses it for his work as his boss taught him.

He thinks his powers are not very useful on a daily basis and would have preferred to be like his little brother, Ritsu, so that he could seduce girls, especially Tsubomi Takane, whom he has been in love with since he was little.

Akame asserts her beliefs by joining Night Raid, after Najenda convinces her. A true expert in the art of sword handling, she is the most powerful of the group, and her talent is matched only by her appetite.

She rarely lets her feelings get the better of her, especially in a fight.

She wields an imperial katana-shaped weapon, Murasame, which curses the blood of her victim, condemning her to certain death.

The big brother of Alphonse and one of the strongest anime characters in Fullmetal Alchemist, their father left them when they were children, and as a result, he has few memories of him.

The death of their mother a few years later will lead Edward to hate him above all else, seeing him as the cause of this death.

12. Koro-sensei

Koro-sensei is the Head Teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School.

His past is unclear, but we later learn that he was once a great assassin who had been given the title of Shinigami, which indicated his function as a powerful and formidable hitman in the whole world.

Having always lived in a slum in hyperviolence, the young Koro-sensei was consumed by an inordinate desire for power and became swollen with pride.

When he was 18, following an accident, Doctor Akihiro Kano transplanted the RC cells of Rize Kamishiro, a ghoul who had tried to devour him.
