One of the most prominent themes of Stardew Valley is freedom. Removing yourself from the shackles of a sterile and uncaring corporate machine to tend the earth is, on its own, enough to appeal to the most stone-hearted of us. One of the potential love interests is Sebastian, the reclusive son of Robin the carpenter. Sebastian’s Favorite Gifts

In order to build up a relationship with Sebastian, you’re going to need to bring him gifts. Like all available singles in Stardew Valley, he has preferred gifts that he likes more than others. These are the best way to build your Friendship with him. Here’s the list of the gifts you can give Sebastian, and how you can acquire them.

The Gifts Sebastian Loves

• Frozen Tear – Gained from harvesting minerals in The Mines.
• Obsidian – Gained from breaking open Magma and Omni Geodes.
• Pumpkin Soup – Gained from cooking.
• Sashimi – Gained from cooking.
• Void Egg – Gained from the Void Chicken.

Sebastian’s Schedule

In order to give Sebastian a gift, you actually have to find him first. He lives with his parents Robin and Demitrius and his sister Maru in the Carpenter’s Shop to the north of Pelican Town proper. He spends most of his time locked away in his basement bedroom, fiddling around on his computer. He does leave the house every once in a while, and where he goes depends on the season and year you’re in. Here’s a rundown of his schedule:

Spring – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (and Thursday in the first year)

• 10:30 AM – Gets out of bed and moves to his computer.
• 3:00 PM – Leaves bedroom and goes to the kitchen.

• Six Heart Event – Enter Sebastian’s room while he’s there.
• Eight Heart Event – Go to the beach on a rainy day between 12:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
• Ten Heart Event – Go to The Mountain between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
• 14 Heart Event – Go to The Mountain on a rainy day between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
