Given:

The diameter of circle first = 16 cm

The diameter of circle second = 10 cm

Formula used:

Area of circle = πr2

Area of region between the circle = Area of circle - Area of second circle

Calculation:

Radius of first circle = The diameter of circle first/2 = 8 cm

⇒ Area of first circle = π × 82 = 64π

Radius of first circle = The diameter of circle first/2 = 5 cm

⇒ Area of first circle = π × 52 = 25π

Area of region between the circle = 64π - 25π = 39π

∴ The area between the region is 39π.
