Now, if you are currently a Facebook group admin and want to remove a member from the group, then you can simply block that member. According to Facebook's guidelines you just need to follow a few simple steps.

Here is a step by step guide which you can follow to remove or block someone from a Facebook group using a computer. But before you go for it remember only group admins can remove or block a member from a group.

How to remove or block a member from a Facebook group using computer

Step 1: Log into your Facebook account by entering your user ID and password.

Step 2: On the home page from your News Feed click Groups in the left menu and select your group.

Step 3: After selecting a group click Members in the left menu.

Step 4: Search for the member you want to remove.

Step 5: Next, click on the three dots (...) next to the member's name and select Remove from Group.

Step 6: Click to check the box if you'd like to delete posts, comments and pending member invites from the person you'd like to remove or block.

Note: You can even remove this person from other groups you manage, you may select the option to apply these changes to other groups you manage.

Step 7: Click to check the box next to Block Permanently to block a member you're removing.

Step 8: At last, click Confirm.

Only the group admins will see the three dots (...) appear next to group members' names. After blocking a member if you have a change of mind you can remove that person from the block list. Here is a complete guide which you can follow.

Step 1: From your News Feed click Groups in the left menu and select your group.

Step 2: Click Members in the left menu.

Step 3: Click Blocked to the right.

Step 4: Click Remove Block next to the person's name.

The member you have removed from the block list have to request again to join the group if they wish to rejoin. Blocked members won't be able to find the group in search or see any of its content, and they can't be invited to the group again by members.
