The Tigers’ season-opening game, against Georgia Tech in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday, Sept. 5, is set for an 8 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPN. Clemson’s second game, at home against in-state rival Furman on Sept. 10, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on the ACC Network. The Tigers’ third game, at home against Louisiana Tech on Sept. 17, will kick off at 8 p.m. on the ACC Network. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney, who is entering his 15th season has compiled a 150-36 record. After a 4-3 start last season, Clemson rebounded to finish the season with six consecutive victories, including a 20-13 win against Iowa State in the Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Clemson will enter the 2022 season having won 10 or more games for 11 consecutive seasons. The Tigers return nine offensive and six defensive starters off last year’s team.
