This would be a great doll to take in the pool, although I would recommend washing out chlorine from the doll's hair afterward with baby soap, so it stays silky and smooth. Both of my daughters LOVE their Wellie Wisher dolls and take them into many play situations and they have held up great.

I restore dolls and I wouldn't recommend taking Wellie Wishers or almost any other doll in the pool.You might go online and find dolls that can go in the bath. Otherwise the doll's eyes could be totally ruined!

I was able to take off the legs to get the water out but water is still stuck in the torso. Now I can’t get the legs back on either.

They are plastic inside and at the torso. We took ours for a swim, she got totally water lodged! Shaking them out or putting them in a split helps if they do get wet though.
