How do I stretch an Excel spreadsheet to fit the page?

Is there any way to stretch a sheet to fit a page? I researched it and all i can find is to scale to fit which always seems to mean to scale down. the other thing i see is to tell my clients they are dumb to want to stretch to fit. I create sheets in the regular letter format and work with that, but sometimes i have to print the same sheet in 24X36 format and put up in front so people can look at it. i wish there was an easy way to tell excel to fill the printable area. i now have to print it into adobe, then tell adobe to stretch on x and y axis to fill. its harder and gives me double margins.

Hello,

Its frustrating me, and maybe it just cant be done, but I am using Excel 2010.

Problem: I am attempting to print an excel spreadsheet to FILL the entire Letter size portrait paper.

I have set my page break to having page 1 break after cell 25 and page 2 to print the remaining cells.

But each time I go to print, cells 1-25 only prints on the top half of the page :(. I want cells 1-25 to print on the entire page, auto scale the fonts to fill the entire page.  I suppose I can select all cells and increase the font size, but I want to keep the font sizes on some cells either bigger or smaller than others.

Anyhow, I have attached a screenshot of my print preview.  The arrow represents the white space, that I would like the entire spreadsheet to fill when printed.

Is this possible?

Without having the actual file to work with, I don't see much hope of finding a combination of settings in Excel to make this work.

Is my understanding correct that you want that same content (all the rows and all the columns that display in your screenshot) to print on one page, but scale the vertical dimension to fill the page?

If this is what your associate is asking, then that's gonna look like hell and your associate is an idiot.  :-D.  As an IT pro it's your job to diplomatically tell him what he wants is ludicrous.

However, if you absolutely must appease him, take a screenshot, save it as an image and then stretch it in an image editor to fit the way he wants.
