Does Do Not Disturb notify anyway on iMessage?

When I send a text to someone who has the Focus DnD on, it shows an option to "Notify Anyway" I do not press this and leave it to be to not disturb the person. However, after some time the "Notify Anyway" option disappears. Does this mean the person read the message? Becuae I assume the need to notify them is no longer necessary and they saw the message. So the message goes from "Delivered Quietly" to "Delivered." So does this Focus DnD serves as a "Read Receipt" without actually having it on?

You can disable the "Notify Anyway" setting for each person or for each Focus mode.

To do this for a Focus mode, go to Settings > Focus, choose the Focus you want to change the setting for, then tap Focus Status. If Focus Status is turned off, then anyone you're texting won't be able to see that you have notifications silenced, nor will they be able to notify anyway.

You can also do this per person by going to Messages, choosing the conversation with the person, then tapping their name at the top of the screen. Again, make sure "Share Focus Status" is turned off, so they won't be able to tap "Notify Anyway."
