Who is the woman in the Caesars commercial?

The Manning family is back on the screen with Caesar and Cleopatra. This time, in the biggest spotlight for advertisements.

Caesars Sportsbook will be rolling out the group again in the Super Bowl after they have made appearances during the NFL's regular season. The commercial is slated to be a 30-second spot.

Throughout the year, Caesar and Cleopatra have appeared in ads with the Mannings at a Thanksgiving dinner and at press conferences to talk about what the online sportsbook has to offer. This will be the first ad for Caesars Sportsbook at the Super Bowl since Caesars Entertainment bought the sportsbook William Hill in April 2021.

But who are those two historic figures portrayed by in the ads?

Who plays Cleopatra in Caesars Sportsbook ad?

In recent ads, Cleopatra has joined Caesar as one of the promoters of the sportsbook. She is portrayed by Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry.

Berry won for Best Actress for her role in "Monster's Ball" in 2001. She has also been in several blockbuster films like the X-Men movies, where she portrays Storm, and in the James Bond movie "Die Another Day," where she plays Jinx.

Berry also took home an Emmy and Golden Globe for the TV movie "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge."

She has taken on a whole new look in the Caesar Sportsbook ads as Cleopatra, wearing eye makeup to mirror the coal-lined eyes of the ancient Egyptian queen and gold jewels that accent her face. She then wears a full-length golden dress and has her hair in a bob with straight-cut bangs.

Who plays Caesar in Caesars Sportsbook ad?

Fans will recognize Caesar as Emmy Award-winning comedian J.B. Smoove, who has burst into the mainstream largely through his role of Leon in HBO's show "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

He won a 2021 Emmy for his role as Chief Billy Bills in the Quibi show, "Mapleworth Murders." Smoove has recently also appeared in some major films as well with his role of Mr. Dell in Marvel's Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland.

Smoove has been a writer with "Saturday Night Live," appeared on "Cedric the Entertainer Presents" and worked alongside Chris Rock as a guest on both "The Chris Rock Show" and "Everybody Hates Chris."

He was the first major face of the sportsbook's commercial series, appearing making speeches to a large crowd, usually with Patton Oswalt attempting to chime in or talk to someone else in the crowd at some point during the ad.

Caesars commercial cast

The Mannings will be under the bright lights of the Super Bowl, only this time as actors in commercials.

Archie, Cooper, Eli and Peyton Manning will all reprise their roles as themselves in the Caesars Sportsbook ads that played during the regular season.

Eli and Peyton Manning will also be appearing in a Pepsi and Frito-Lay commercial that is set to run during the big game. The two will be watching the game with Jerome Bettis, Victor Cruz and Terry Bradshaw.

According to AdAge, Archie, Eli and Peyton Manning will also appear in a separate Caesars Sportsbook ad that will see them talk directly into the camera about gambling safely. That ad will appear only in states where Caesars Sportsbook is fully operational.

Halle Berry looked so stunning as Cleopatra in the new Caesars Sportsbook ad that she had to compliment herself.

She took to her Instagram on Sunday (December 5) to share some behind-the-scenes footage of her transformation, and she captured her post “… she bad.”

She ain’t lying, and I’m sure Young M.A would agree.

We have covered a number of commercials, most that the internet seems to hate, but in a surprising turn of events, people don’t seem to mind the Caesars Sportsbook and Casino commercial that aired during the NFL Super Bowl, entitled, “Our Cleo Has Arrived!” which you can watch below.

The commercial follows 56-year-old actor and comedian J. B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) as Caesar, who gripes that he doesn’t care about an upcoming award show, only that he misses “his Cleo” and hasn’t seen her in a week.

Luckily, Cleo finally makes an appearance. Strutting down the hallway while wearing a long, gold cloak, a matching gilded dress that plunges nearly to her navel, and sparkling six-inch golden heels, we immediately recognize this figure as Cleopatra.

However, underneath thick Egyptian-inspired eye makeup and a heavy bob, some viewers were slow to realize that Cleo is played by none other than Miss Halle Berry!

The 55-year-old actress is known well for her roles in the X-Men series, as well as Catwoman, The Call, and Perfect Stranger, and her many successful roles, as well as gorgeous appearance, have made Halle Berry instantly recognizable at all times… but not in this commercial!

In fact, many viewers didn’t recognize Halle Berry at all.

One Twitter user was absolutely shocked, asking, “WHAT DO YOU MEAN CLEOPATRA IS HALLE BERRY???”

“I thought it was Lesley Ann Brandt, but [I] guess [Caesars Sportsbook and Casino wins] a lot of money so could afford Halle,” another Reddit user agreed.

These comments make sense, considering that Caesars Entertainment, Inc. reported $2.7 billion in net revenues in 2021 alone. It is unknown how much the company paid Halle Berry to appear in their NFL Super Bowl commercial, but considering the actress’ high profile star power, we can bet it was a solid chunk of change!

In the commercial, Halle Berry absolutely stuns as the powerful Egyptian queen, perfectly playing the role of a chagrined lover as she guides J. B. Smoove’s bumbling Caesar through the events of the evening.

Though many viewers weren’t able to immediately recognize Halle Berry as the glittering Egyptian queen, most people (ourselves included) were able to agree on one thing: Halle Berry looks darn good.

“The commercials are absolutely terrible, but I’m not mad at Halle Berry dressed up as Cleopatra,” one Reddit user posts.

One cheeky Tweeter writes, “Halle Berry looks better than canceled student loans in these ads with the Cleopatra Hair.”

This isn’t the only commercial Halle Berry and J. B. Smoove have teamed up together in, as they have appeared in a number of ads for Caesars Sportsbook and Casino where they reprise their roles.

Another commercial, entitled “Thanksgiving with Caesar and Cleo,” also features Eli and Peyton Manning as houseguests to the pair’s ridiculously lavish Thanksgiving dinner.

Considering how fantastic Halle Berry looks as the gorgeous and perpetually perturbed Cleopatra in these commercials, we really only have one question, which this Twitter user sums up perfectly: “Why hasn’t Halle Berry been cast to play Cleopatra in a feature film yet?”

C’mon, Hollywood! The people have spoken!

In February 2013, Halle Berry sported her classic red carpet look at the Chicago screening of her 2013 American psychological crime thriller film The Call.

The then-46-year-old actress wore a little black dress by Helmut Lang, which features short sleeves, an asymmetrical neckline, and a one-shoulder style with a cutout.

She finished her look with a pair of black sandals — the “Uma” from Brian Atwood.

The Uma sandals by Brian Atwood are undoubtedly sexy!

Modern cutouts and on-trend wrap-around laces make these heels edgy and, at the same time, perfect for all occasions. Completing the design is the 4-inch covered heel for added height.

These heels are from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection and are also available in purple/green snakeskin.
