Work done by A and B together in 14 days =1
Work done by A and B together in 1 day =

So A's workdone in one day= 2x
& B's workdone in one day= x
So, 2x + x = 1/14 3x = 1/14 X = 1/42
So, B's workdone in oneday= 1/42
& A's workdone in one day= 1/21
So, A alone will take 21 days to complete a piece of work
