Answer:
Solution:
A and B together can do a work in 10 days
And B can do the same work in 15 days
A and B’s one day’s work = \frac{1}{10}
And B’s one day’s work = \frac{1}{15}
∴ A’s one day’s work = \frac{1}{10}-\frac{1}{15}=\frac{3-2}{30}=\frac{1}{30}
Hence A can do the same work in = 30 days

Given:
A does a work = 10 days
B does the same work = 15 days
Concept used:
Firstly we will find 1 day work of both A and B, then by adding we can get collective days from them,
Calculation:
According to the question;
A's 1 day work = 1/10
B's 1 day work = 1/15
(A + B)'s 1 day work = 1/10 + 1/15
⇒ (3 + 2)/30 = 5/30 = 1/6
∴ They together will do the same work in 6 days.
Shortcut Trick
(A + B)'s together same work = (A × B)/(B + A)
⇒ (10 × 15)/(15 + 10) = 150/25 = 6
∴ They together will do the same work in 6 days.
