When you send an email from your Samsung Galaxy, you can attach a photo to send along with the message. Attach a picture file saved on your phone to a new message, or attach the file to an email reply. When sending a photo from your Galaxy, you can adjust the size of the image or send the image in its original format. Send emails with attachments over the mobile network or when connected to Wi-Fi.

Tap the “Apps” option from any of the home screens on the Samsung Galaxy to open the Apps screen.

Tap the “Email” icon in the Apps screen to launch the Email app.

Tap the drop-down arrow in the top navigation bar, and then tap the desired email account.

Tap the “Compose” option in the lower left corner of the screen to open the New Message form.

Tap in the “To:” field, and then type the email address for the message recipient. You can also tap the “Contacts” icon to open your Contacts list. Tap the desired contact. The contact’s email address populates the “To:” field.

Tap in the “Subject” field, and then type a subject for the message.

Tap in the message body, and type a note to accompany the photo.

Tap the “Attach” option, which is the button with the paper clip icon. The Attachment Types list opens.

Tap “Picture” to open your Photo Gallery. You can also tap “My Files” to manually search through your device and SD card files if the desired photo is not in your Gallery.

Navigate to and tap on the picture to share, and then tap “Done.” The Image Resize dialog box opens.

Tap the desired size in the Image Resize dialog box. You can select “Small,” “Medium,” “Large” or “Original.” A frequency dialog box displays.

Tap “Always” to always resize images to the selected size, or tap “Just Once” to resize just the selected picture. Tap “OK.”

Tap the “Send” option to send the email with the attached photo.

Option 1
- Open the “Messages” app.
- Select an existing message thread, or compose a new message by selecting the pen and paper icon, choosing a contact, then selecting “Compose” at the top of the screen.
- Tap the Paper-clip icon.
- Select one of the following at the bottom:
- Camera – Allows you to take a new picture to send.
- Gallery – Choose a photo or video from the gallery.
- Other – Choose a photo, video, calendar entry, and a variety of other items to send.
- Choose the items you wish to attach to your text message.
- Enter a text message if desired. Tap “Send” once you’re ready to send your message.
Option 2
- Open the “Gallery” app.
- Navigate to the location of your photos or videos you wish to send.
- Tap and hold a single photo or video you wish to send, then tap multiple items if desired.
- Select “Share” at the top of the screen, then choose “Messages“.
- Enter a text message if desired. Tap “Send” once you’re ready to send your message.

Press SEND when you've written your picture message.
