J7 Unfortunately Google Has Stopped Working

Problem: My phone was working fine yesterday then the internet went down for about 3 hours. When it came back about all google applications stopped working meaning, google itself, gmail and playstore. Every time i try to use it i get a message unfortunately gmail/google/play store (which ever i try) has stop working report or ok is the options to select. I have selected report and described the issue and sent it but it still happens. Can you help me with this please please please? Thanks

Solution: Try restarting the phone as sometimes this issue can be fixed by doing this step. Once the phone has fully booted up make make sure that the phone is connected to the Internet then check if the issue still occurs.

In case the problem persists then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

J7 Facebook Messenger Stops Working

Problem: Facebook messenger stops working on my Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro after few minutes I don’t use; I get the orange bar with “waiting for network” for a while when I open app even if I keep chathead on my screen and even with data saver and optimisation battery disabled for this app, I also tried with reset settings and factory data reset, it happens both on WiFi and data connection

Solution: The first thing you need to do in this particular case is to make sure that the phone is connected to a strong and stable Internet connection.

You should also make sure that the phone is running on the latest software update.

If the issue still persists then the problem could be with the app itself. Uninstall this app then install a fresh version from the Google Play Store. You should also report this issue to the app developer since this might be caused by a bug in the app.

J7 Is Not Charging

Problem: phone isn’t charging at all says it is but loses battery while charging at the same time a restart cause the battery to jump from 28% to 100% after an overnight charge on the quick charge but it didn’t work the phone a few hour later died completely.

Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Once this is done charge the phone using a different charging cord and wall charger for at least 20 minutes then turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

If the issue persists then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as the problem could be caused by a faulty battery.

Problem: Hi, my Samsung Galaxy J7 stopped working suddenly, it vibrated twice and it restarted, then it turned on normally, but when it finished turning on it vibrated twice and it restarted and did not go beyond the Samsung logo in the part higher and in the lower part said powered by Android, that screen did not pass, did not start, I charged the battery and nothing

Solution: You will need to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
  • Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger.
  • If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.
  • Remove the microSD card of the phone if you have one installed.
  • Turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should try doing a factory reset from the recovery mode. Take note that this will erase your phone data.

Should the issue persist then you need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Corrupt Videos And Photos

Problem: Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 .  I haven’t had any issues until just recently.  It’s dealing with photos and videos on an SD card.  Some pictures have been getting gray boxes on them.  The bigger issue is video.  I’ve been getting “Can’t play video” errors and the video stops or doesn’t run.  They all seem to happen in different places. Either at the very beginning, or the video runs and then stops at the end.  For a while, it was just one video. But it seems it’s getting to almost all of them now.  Is it a corrupt or deteriorating SD card?  (I’ve been busting my butt to backup all of my photos and videos to a computer now.)

Solution: It’s very likely that this problem is caused by a corrupted microSD card. To check if this is the case you should place another microSD card on your phone then check if the same issue occurs. If it doesn’t then you should replace your microSD card.

In case the issue still occurs with another card installed then you should backup your phone data then do a factory reset as this might already be caused by a software glitch.
