Samsung Internet browser stores plenty of information such as history, cache, and cookies. This information is used by websites to track your search behavior and the amount of time you spend on a particular website.

But there are some times when you don’t want to know others what you’re searching for. If that is the case, then you may wish to clear history, cookies, and cache on Samsung Internet.

Here are the steps to clear history, cookies, and cache in Samsung Internet:

  1. Launch Samsung Internet browser on your Android device.
  2. Tap on
    to open the menu list.
  3. Select the Settings menu from the list.
  4. Under the Advanced section, tap on Privacy and security.
  5. Tap on the Delete browsing data option.
  6. Enable the checkbox for Browsing history, Cache, Cookies, and site data options.
  7. Hit on the Delete command button.

This will immediately clear the selected site data and also save some storage space that was occupied in the Samsung Internet app.

  6. Uncheck any other data you don't want to delete.

Delete an item from your history

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
  2. At the top right, tap More History.
    • If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar before you tap History .
  3. Find the entry you want to delete.
  4. To the right, tap Remove .

To delete multiple items:

  1.  Touch and hold an entry.
  2. Select other entries you want to delete.
  3. At the top right, tap Remove .

  • To search for something specific, at the top right, tap Search .
  • You can remove an item from a specific site’s history while on that site:
    • Tap Lock Last visited Remove .

Your History shows the pages you've visited on Chrome in the last 90 days. It doesn’t store Chrome pages you’ve visited like chrome://settings, pages you've visited in private browsing, or pages you've already deleted from your browsing history.

If you're signed in to Chrome and sync your history, then your History shows pages you’ve visited across all your synced devices for much longer. If you're signed out of Chrome, your History won't show pages across your other devices.

If you don’t want Chrome to save your browsing history at all, you can browse in private with Incognito mode.
