What you did on your phone is a liitle bit dangerous for it .Removing the Lcd or the flex cables withour removing your battery may cause shortage to the board luckily on your case its not damage or what .Always remember remove the battery first before anything else .regarding to not using proper or lacking of tools in opening the phone may result of damage to the board so keep that in mind. Also said she had no experience on opening phone and had less materials too May 29, 2017 by Toyo Akoms Ironically when unplugging or plugging in screen cables while a power source is connected to the phone (especially battery) can end up short circuiting the chip that controls power to both the rear camera and the front camera as the connector of the screen cables itself can accidentally touch something it should not on the logic board. Back Camera and LED/Flash not working, Wifi is extremely weak. When I open the camera app, front camera works fine but when I switch to the back camera the display goes black. In the top left corner it shows the following message, "Flash is Disabled - The iPhone needs to cool down before you can use the flash." Was this answer helpful? Bought replacement camera (under £3) but when dismantling camera I noticed a loose connector, (one of the 3 you need to dis to remove screen) Refitted properly and ensured the little plate was seated correctly. Phone now works properly. May 14, 2018 by rogerrose59 Add a comment 0/1024 Cancel Post commentPosted: May 14, 2018 Options
Okay so this issue can happen from a loose rear camera connection to logic board. If you do not have the metal plate that covers the screen and rear camera connectors on the board the cable for rear camera can easily become loose on unplug so check for that and reseat as needed. Had clients come in for that before. Was this answer helpful? Yes No Voted Undo Score 1 Cancel Add a comment 0/1024 Cancel Post commentPosted: Dec 14, 2018 Options
